When subscribing to the App via the Mac App Store, we collect anonymised purchase information with the purpose to enable the App functionality, prevent fraud, to perform customer support, and to analyse the customer purchase history. The purchase history data collected through the App from the Mac App Store is not linked to the user identify and is not used for tracking purposes. We use RevenueCat (https://www.revenuecat.com), a third-party service, to help us process, validate and restore orders of the App from the Mac App Store, which does not use purchase history to track users across different apps for advertising.
When running the application, we do not collect any information about you or your Mac or your data usage.
When running the application, our partners Paddle and Setapp collect information such as the activation status of the App with the purpose to enable App functionality, prevent fraud, and help us conduct customer support when needed. Basic information of your system (such as the OS version and language of the OS) is collected by these services, who make it available to us in the form of anonymized, aggregated statistics.
Use of Information
We use the information we receive from Paddle and Google Analytics to improve the Services for our users.
Paddle and Setapp use the information about the status of the application to enforce licensing rules.
We don’t sell or license any information to any third parties.
We may retain the information gathered, for example when contacting us via Customer Support, for as long as needed to provide Services (e.g. help fix your issue). We don’t retain any personally identifiable information from our customers and users, with the only exception of the personal information you disclose via e-mail or customer support contacts. You can ask us at any time to delete any trace of our e-mail or customer support interactions by contacting us at support@TripMode.ch. You may request your registration information to be deleted directly by our partner Paddle or Setapp, who act as the Merchant of Records for the App. When doing this, you will lose the ability to use our paid services, as there will be no way to know that you are a customer.
When purchasing the App from our website, you enter into an agreement with Paddle (https://www.paddle.com), who acts as our Merchant of Records. Therefore, we do not store or have access to your payment information. You can contact Paddle for any questions at email@example.com.
